Updates and a Favor

Hello, all! How’s it going? Things are going fairly well over here at the Don’s house. We recently celebrated Little Miss Princess’s first Birthday, which was exciting. She met cousins and great-aunts and her Great-Grammie. Fun times.

My dad got married at the beginning of the month as well. It was a very nice service. I’m excited to get to know my new family members better as time goes on.

I recently went to my first dentist appointment in quite some time. I left with four less teeth than I had when I walked in. Tomorrow I’m going back to have four more teeth removed. By summer I should have full upper and lower dentures. I’ll be happy when it’s over, but going through this has been a bit difficult so far.

I have a new project in the works. I’m hoping to turn it into a Podcast. I’m wondering if I can get some help from you all? How do you feel about answering some question?

  1. What is your favorite Color? Why?
  2. What is your favorite Sandwich? Why?
  3. What is your favorite Book? Why?
  4. What is your favorite Movie? Why?
  5. What is your favorite Song? Why?
  6. What is your favorite Number? Why?
  7. What is your favorite Drink? Why?
  8. What is your favorite Meal? Why?
  9. What is your greatest Skill? Why?
  10. Do you think you are currently sitting where you deserve to be? Why?

Thanks for staying around. Things will slow down one of these days… or not.

    The ability to be optimistic.
Life has enough challenges and difficulties without making them bigger than they really are. There is always light at the end of the tunnel and an expectation that it will all work out in the end.
I get discouraged and frustrated just like everybody else, especially during the “heat of battle”. I will see the positive side to that much sooner than most. I will start to analyze and identify a lesson that I should learn from the experience as soon as the “emotion” allows rational thought. As soon as I can identify something I could, even if it is just patience, then the optimism returns and I can start to focus on the positive of learning from the experience instead of how much pain, discomfort, or frustration I am feeling.
Makes a hugh difference in how I approach it and how I feel about it.
