I had to deliver a picture to my Bruddah today, so I visited him after work. While hanging out for a few minutes I noticed a distinct change in him. He is turning into an old man. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but let me tell you why I think this.

  1. Several cars passed by while we were sitting on the front porch. He commented on the speed of each of these cars, and how they were all going too fast.
  2. There is a car-wash not far from his place. He has somehow found out who the owner (the guy who collects the money) is. This person drove by this afternoon and my Bruddah couldn’t help but comment “go get them quarters. Don’t forget about them quarters.”
  3. The yard, don’t forget about mowing the yard. “The yard’s never looked better, has it?”
  4. Not only his yard, let’s not forget…
