So, I’ve been fairly silent for quite some time, with reason.

Work has finally slowed down enough for us to get above water. We’ve hired a couple new people and are in the process of getting them trained up. I’m excited for more to come at work. I enjoy this job, and actually feel appreciated for my hard work. I’ve been entrusted to advance within my department, and it feels good.

I’ve finally finished moving! I was on a wait list for about three months, finally moving in March 2nd. This past weekend I was able to completely finish everything. Nothing left in storage. All pictures hung (thanks Mom!) I’m happy with this move. The apartment is better and a bit more advanced. All appliances (minus fridge and stove) are all brand new. I have (fake) hard wood floors in the living room, dining room and kitchen. There is a brand new ceiling fan in both the living room and the bedroom. Yep, the apartment is good.

This move also puts me into a different Ward (Church District). This Ward just so happens to be the Magnet Ward for all the Stake (area) Mid-Singles, which is the age group I just so happen to fit into. I’ve enjoyed this new Ward so far, and the opportunity to meet and hang out with some new people. It’s great to have a group of like-minded individuals to enjoy quality time with. Which means, I’ve actually gone to an event, and plan on going to more. Not bad for this introvert, huh?

With the move I’ve been without internet, until Yesterday! I’m so excited to have it back. I feel happier, so that would cause me to write more. I plan on getting out of the house, which would cause me to write more. I have a very great office cubical mate that I think I need to introduce to y’all….which would cause me to write more.

Please stay tuned for the first installment of Mad Max and BroJo: A Budding Office Bromance – Coming soon to a computer screen near you

What have you all been up to lately?  Did you miss me?

  1. Yay!

It’s exciting to hear that things are going so well. You’re also in a lucky place as it is one of the small handful of places with a mid-singles wards. Careful though, sometimes they can get and do some ca-razy things! All Mormon standard of course.

    1. I miss all you guys too. I’m trying to figure out the next time I can make it back. Hopefully I’ll be able to spend more than a weekend catching up. Things are good though. Thanks!
