Holiday Cheer

As I mentioned here 2014 will be the year of bloggers, for bloggers. Influenced by this, and dedicated to Stephanie at She Said What? please enjoy the following.

I don’t really stay up with Stephanie as much as I should, but I do see her everywhere. Our blogs are very similar, in the sense that we will blog about anything that pops in our heads. We don’t confine ourselves to a certain style or topic, which is very nice. She’s also from a little known Island Country named Australia.

Anyways, Back to the Cheer!

It’s the time of year for Holiday Cheer. If you’re feeling down have a look at a couple of videos that make me very happy. J.D. Gallagher introduced the first one to me a few years ago. At first it seems like a very cheesy song, but with further investigation I’ve found out that the young man, who was nineteen when he made this, has Asperger Syndrome. While writing and filming this video he also made a mini-documentary about himself and living with Asgerger’s. Knowing and watching this video makes me appreciate this song all the more.

The second video is more recent. I gut laughed the first time I watched it, and giggle every time since. Please enjoy.

What makes you happy when down?

  1. I am spreading glitter like a gay, frolicking unicorn wearing a ball gown and high heels covered with glitter!!! And I do apologize, because it is impossible to get rid of glitter… glitter is the herpes of craft sullies…

  2. Steph truly is amazing! 🙂

I find when I am down, just sleeping it off helps. Maybe not the healthiest thing, but it’s what I’ve got for now.
