Sidetracked – Mormon Monday

So…

You know you’ve slacked on your blogging efforts when your Grandma comments about you “not posting much lately.” “How am I supposed to keep up with what’s going on if you don’t post anything?”

Yeah, you got me there. Time to get back on track.

So…

Let’s have another Mormon Monday.

This past weekend I had the opportunity to take part in my home Ward Temple (LDS Temple) Trip. (In Missouri. Yes, I still live in Missouri. And Monett Ward will always be my Home Ward.) It was a wonderful experience. At my best count we had about 25 members from our Ward there. I was told that we had the company of The Duttons also. This was the first time I had ever heard of them, but from what I’m told they were on America’s Got Talent a few years ago. I guess that’s pretty exciting.

About two weeks ago I celebrated my second anniversary of being Baptized, on October 1st. On this day I celebrated by attending the Dallas Temple. It was also a wonderful experience.

    1. Yeah, they are truly beautiful. The one in Kansas City sits a top a hill, and you can see it there while driving in on the highway. It amazes me every time. I suggest, to anyone, that if you have a chance to see a Temple up close, take it.
