I’m not sure if you guys realize how proud I was of myself for coming up with this title. That was until I realized how hard the next one is going to be. Anyway, I’ve been getting some comments, likes and follows from some new people, and old as well. Because of this I’ve decided it’s about time to show some recognition, to add some people to the ole Blogroll. Here we go, in no particular order.
The newest person to the Brother Jon party is Heather from Hope for Heather. Heather has been around the blogging world for a while, and rightly so. She has a truly inspiring story to tell. Something about surviving not one, but two rare medical conditions. Her blog tag line says “Life is a journey – and the end of one part is always the beginning of another”. She’s also member of the Church.
Next we have Sara from Laments and Lullabies. Sara is also known as The Ringmistress over at A Clown on Fire. I little while ago Le Clown was interviewed by WordPress and mentioned that Sara was a better writer and often proofread his posts. After reading her last few uploads I completely agree. You know the saying, behind every Clown…. So, now I’ve decided to look for someone who writes better than me, for my next date.
If you’re looking for a good laugh from a cute little red-head, look no further than Becca at 25 to Fly. She likes talking about plants and some good-looking guy in 301. She also says that bacon is the candy of all meats. If you can’t get behind that, you should probably step in front of a…..well, that’s probably too far, but you know what I mean.
Do you like Zombies? How about random conversations, arguments and interviews? Or just random anything? If you said yes then you need to check out Christopher De Voss. He doesn’t comment that much but when he does, he sure makes it count. (Nice Vampires finish last.) Today (Oct. 23) is his birthday too, so happy birthday!! (My internet is being a total B, so this may be a Happy Belated Birthday.)
Did you know I have a new BFF? If you follow me you do. She just got Freshly Pressed too. I’m talking about Jen from Sips of Jen and Tonic. She’s lives in Oregon, and I visit Seattle every once in a while. I thinks that makes us almost family. Also, this Friday’s upcoming Funny Dad Friday posts was her idea. Boom. (Don’t forget about Funny Dad Friday!!)
The last one is pretty much a no-brainer (not that the others weren’t too). I had a friend tell me about having a certain blogger comment on their post and it made them feel great. Made them feel like they made it. This happened to me a few weeks ago. Sweet Mother is funny, witty, real, and not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. She told me that I write like a breeze. I think that’s one of the greatest compliments I’ve ever gotten. Thank you Sweet Momma.
Thank you all for coming around, liking, commenting and putting out great inspirational stuff. I keep going because of people like all of you.
Here is the updated Blogroll page.
